On May 12, just weeks ahead of the movie’s release, OPI has announced the launch of its Alice Through the Looking Glass nail polish collection through a partnership with Disney.

Available in both lacquer and GelColor formulas, the collection includes a variety of eight shades inspired by the film’s characters and Alice’s adventure as she time travels to save the Mad Hatter. In addition, each polish features a whimsical, movie-inspired name including the fuchsia pink ‘Mad for Madness Sake’ and the deep shade of burgundy, ‘What’s the Hatter with You?’

“We are thrilled at this opportunity to capture even more of Wonderland’s fantasy, adventure, and whimsy,” said OPI co-founder and brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fishmann.  “These shades truly say ‘wear me’, and let Alice fans indulge in a little madness of their own,” she added in a press release as noted by PR Newswire.

The release of the collection marks the second collaboration with Disney, as OPI also created a line in 2010 coinciding with the release of Alice in Wonderland. OPI has a history of releasing its polishes as unique collections with not only movies, but also location-themed shades such as New Orleans and collaborations with celebrities such as Scandalactress Kerry Washington. At the beginning of May, Washington announced her partnership with OPI to launch a D.C.-themed collection and has since received attention for the peculiar political-themed polish names, including ‘Stay Off the Lawn,’ ‘Yank My Noodle,’ and ‘Squeaker of the House,” notes The Washington Post.

Alice Through the Looking Glass by OPI is available for purchase now in stores and online, while Washington’s D.C. collection will be available on August 3.
